Walking the path of righteousness
Righteousness is an awesome gift, not something I take lightly. I often say I'd rather be righteous than be right. I know it's a waste of time to try and prove myself, but powerful to glorify the righteous one, Yeshuah who purchased righteousness for me on Calvary!
Righteousness has been imputed to me as a free gift of grace, therefore I can walk in righteous behavior. If I truly understand exactly what Yeshuah did on the cross, in death, and in his resurrection, I can walk as if I'd never sinned! Those are frightening words to those who don't believe he did it all!
A favorite verse is Philippians 2:12 "Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling." Sounds hard, but if you see the perfected spirit of a man (through Yeshuah's gift of righteousness) on the inside of that man and imagine working out that righteousness, that salvation to the soul and flesh it seems much easier! That's what we're endeavoring to do here. At the very least we want to encourage to you meditate on the word so that these truths can manifest in your life.
YHVH (the Hebrew letters used for the name of God) is a God of the individual. He is capable of being at all places (that includes where you are now) at all times. He is called The Omnipotent, Omniscient, and Omnipresent one. He called Himself "I AM"! He can touch you while He is touching me. He is working in you (and me) both to will and to do of His good pleasure! Philippians 2:13
Righteousness avails all the blessings from heaven, so walking in it is vital for a successful walk in this natural, temporal realm.
Again, I exhort you to follow me as I follow the Messiah and his Anointing. He has a great plan for us, but it only works to its fullest when we walk in unity, one with another! Come along with me, the poet said, the best is yet to be!
